Gwyndaf Evans Motors and the current COVID-19 restrictions

Following the latest UK Governments announcements, we would like to clarify our position with how we can help our customers keep themselves mobile and their vehicles in a safe condition, following each region's individual rules.
We have opened in line with all non-essential retail in Wales. We have measures in place to carry on with MOT, servicing, car repairs, and car sales at all our dealerships
Our aftersales departments remain fully open for MOT, servicing and repairs. We will continue to employ protective measures and social distancing. We will continue to use covers on all vehicle touchpoints and have screens, PPE and cashless payments in place.
Showrooms are open and our staff are able to handle telephone/showroom visits, online enquiries and sales. To manage the customer flow in the showrooms we are operating an APPONTMENT ONLY service, this will ensure our staff can give you the time and attention required to assist you fully wihtout you having to wait for a member of staff to become free.
We will be able to take your order for new and used vehicles and value your part exchange as normal. Existing and new orders can be collected from a designated outdoor area at the dealership and with full social distancing measures.
Our sales team still have digital tools to help your purchase, we can send additional videos if required, and we can arrange finance agreements as normal.
Unaccompanied vehicle test drives are now allowed by appointment only. The showrooms and forecourts are now open, however, test drives must be taken in close proximity to the dealership location.
Payment and appointment
Payment of the vehicle needs to have been organised prior to collection. This can either be payment in full or through a finance agreement. Once this has been finalised, one of our Associates will be in touch to arrange collection at a time that suits you.
In order to keep our businesses safe, appointments must be made for any collection as only one customer will be permitted in the handover area at a time. Where possible, please attend your appointment on your own.
When you arrive, you will be greeted by a member of the team who will show you to the dedicated handover area. If you have a part-exchange vehicle, you will be shown where to park it.
Keeping you safe
All cars ready for collection are fully valeted and sanitised, with seat covers and a steering wheel cover fitted. When you are ready, your sanitised keys will be given to you in an envelope. During the whole process, our associates will maintain the recommended 2-metre distancing.
Please wear a face covering at all times whilst in the showroom. Hand sanitiser will be provided for use on entry and exit or at any point during your visit.
All vehicles will be fully sanitised before handover, including using our home delivery service. This applies to both our sales and service departments.
